.....barely.

In 72 hours, I wrote 67 pages and 11,273 words of a mini-novel called The Regeneration Project.

That night I barely slept, suffering from the writerly version of runner's high.

The next day, we took all 3 beasts to the vet's for routine checkups, only to discover:

  1. Bella had a bad staph infection in her ear
  2. All 3 still have fleas
  3. Bill tested positive for FeLV
  4. But Amy was negative
Also I am going to be teaching a course at Langara College this fall, which is very exciting, and I went for testing for another job. Currently I'm trying to whip up a BC Arts Council grant application for Wednesday, and work on the Canada Council grant application.

3 cats that used to spend most of their days outdoors are now quarantined inside indefinitely....and they are b-o-r-e-d.

We are going to try to find a new home for Bill. If not, we may have to put him down.

Things are happening quickly...feel like I'm hanging on a thin emotional thread. If the thread was a bit thicker I might not have to use such cliched language to describe my emotional affect.
